We had a major issue with our sprinkler system and needed large holes cut out of our ceiling throughout the house, at least 50 and a few were 5 ft long! I was totally defeated because I knew there was no way it will ever look good and I will forever see the demarcations from the patchwork. I accepted the fact that I will just never look up again. When Alex came by to do a walkthrough he promised me that we will never know there were ever holes. I scoffed at him. Well, I was wrong! I cannot believe what an amazing job they did! My other major concern was the drywall dust, which has the amazing ability to get everywhere and in every crevice, there was almost no dust at all. Mainly because he used a HEPA sanding vac, game changer! They also painted as well which was beautifully done. I am an overly observant person and I literally cannot find where the holes were! With everything we have gone through in building this house I cannot thank Alex enough, his expert drywaller, Jesus, is an artist and an angel. See more See less

Alex and his crew transformed our ice cube interior into something beautiful and much more relaxing to be in! He installed the Laminate flooring we picked out, and then painted most of the walls, trim and ceiling. He and his crew did a great job and I'm especially thrilled in the finicky part he pulled off with the floor -> fireplace stone transition, it's particularly flawless! Alex has much better photos than I have. One of the best parts about working with Alex is, well, working with Alex! We ended up in a pinch and had to move before everything was ready (our fault, the floor planks took 2 weeks longer to ship), so he ensured the bedroom was finished before everything else, so we could keep everything in the garage and bedroom while the rest of the house was finished. That, and his genuine desire to get the details you want perfected, perfected, is excellent. I found a few things that I wanted touched up after the job and he got it taken care of. That, and he's fun to chat with! Now it's not all peaches and roses. My criticism is that his crew seemed to rush the last day, and it would have been nice to see at least one person come back for another half day on the next day, to do a final pass on inspection and touch ups of the work done. But like I said, Alex makes sure that if there's something you don't like in the quality of work, he'll be sure it's corrected to how you like. Also I liked his crew, very nice people. Alex and his team did an impressive job with the multiple projects we had! For starters, they painted our interior walls throughout the house with precision and care. Then Alex painted our kitchen cabinets and lower bathroom cabinet a dark bean expresso. They turned out so well that the contractor we hired to finish our basement (and paint our stairway/banisters) was so impressed he recommended that we should have Alex paint them as well. When I asked Alex if he would take on the challenge he happily agreed. This was the best decision we could have made; they now match our kitchen cabinets, and our home looks new and AMAZING!! On a satisfaction scale of 1-10, I would give them an 11! From the bid, through communication of scheduling, and completion, they were prompt, respectful, and professional. Our house required more prep work than most with significant siding replacement, etc. The crews who did the work were very skilled. Toward the time of completion, I wondered if some of the details I was worried about would be taken care of. Literally everything was perfect. One section of fascia board, high up on the house, had some water damage and had deteriorated. Since this was high up, and we didn’t specifically talk about it, I figured it might be overlooked. I was wrong, they repaired it too, and it looks fantastic. I wanted to share my experience for those of you wondering if this might be the right painter. Diamond Edge Painting came in and re-did our kitchen and bathroom cabinets previously painted by Foxx Painting. The original stain bled through on all the cabinets and Foxx Painting refused to stand behind their work. Alex and his crew came in and repainted all the base cabinets and took all the doors down and re-sanded and re-sprayed them all. They look amazing. So smooth and shiny. Had the exterior of our home painted and the team did a good job. Everything was done properly, replacing some boards, cleaning, caulking, priming and painting. Completed in 3 days. Our schedule was pushed back a few times and I had to initiate each step (picking colors, painting samples, setting dates). Communication could have been better but we were happy with the work and fair value. We feel more confident knowing the paint job is under warranty and appreciated the free window cleaning too. Very professional service open and honest quoting process and high quality results. Alex was very good at communicating the cost and details of the project. If I had questions or adjustments to the project, he took the time to make sure everything was accounted for. His team was professional and had an eye for details. They worked inside a tight window I gave between flooring contractors. When they needed extra time to finish, they were happy to show up early in the morning when requested to make sure it was ready for the next contractors to arrive later that day. Alex and his crew were VERY good. Alex communicated all details of the work leading up to, during as well as after painting our house. Alex answered all questions I had prior to the painting, even making color suggestions when we asked. His employees were prompt, polite, and worked quickly, but accurately. I hired Diamond Edge a couple of years ago for my exterior house painting, as I saw they had done a fantastic job on a neighbors home. Phenomenal job, and the price for the work they did was very reasonable. I needed some extra work to be done this year, and as usual, they were right on it and did fabulous, even adjusting their schedule with mine due to some personal issues. Hard working, clean, honest, detailed, and just plain old nice, which is refreshing. They even went out of their way to find a few pieces of siding that needed to be replaced. Highly recommend!! Alex was great ! He was patient with us as we took probably a little longer than most to decide on the color scheme for our house. When we needed samples he would bring them out to test on our home.
